dear God I thank You for being strong

when I am weak

the day

of memory

known deep in their soul

asking to understand

knowing one day they will

once more

the moment returns

burns

with sorrow

with joy

with chaos of why

wanting the knowing now

now it is not to be –

the number in time

is just that

a number in time

the memory of then

when

life changed

two became one

for me

it is the day of then

once again now

a memory to me so real

I feel like yesterday today

the moment of truth

connecting within

comparable to the perfect shoe

perfect fit

thinking

is a shoe really on my foot?

looking to see is it real

there

tangible

maybe something imagined

or is it really something of substance

yes it is there

it exists

this shoe is upon my foot

truth is knowing

the stomach does not turn

the flush does not pour through your veins

second thoughts of ‘oh dear what did I do’

remain unspoken to your soul

you smile

you say

it is okay

it is me finding my way

this my friend the moment of truth

the knowing

all is well  within your soul

God truly is in control

a moment

eternal moments

how can one find the words for moments etched eternally

into one’s soul?

those moments of God’s deepest love felt where minutes and hours

stand still

beyond comprehension

this love one feels a divine connection to the now

how can one put into words- concepts- expressing moments

such as this?

it is beyond the grace of the rising sun breaking dawn on God’s horizon

opening His doors to great beauty that of another day of hope

His light shining opening His arms wide to hold us once more

it’s measure felt beyond the first kiss of the love your soul has found

the embrace of one another knowing one cannot be separated from the other

ever

no matter the distance always are you held in the soul of the others arms

if you could imagine God’s grace

your lovers kiss

the brilliance of the morning sunrise

coming together as one

sealed with God’s blessing of hope of grace of knowing this expression

the culmination of loves ultimate gift

this blessing touching my world with smiles with peace with compassion for life

I have no words to write reflecting what I feel only that this gift

is eternally etched within my soul my gift from God

two souls having touched mine with blessings so complete with love so pure

I am humbled that God entrusted me to guide to raise to advise to love

two boys into men two men into God loving beings of compassion with passion

sharing their life with me

I am honored to be Mom in their world
