drifting floating
carried by the breeze
seemingly oblivious
they move with ease
honoring respecting
what their flight reveals
colorful in contrast
each moment they feel
just what they need
at that given time
understanding seems sacred
as if frozen they find
peace on this journey
patiently they wait
no immediate hurry
concentration seems great
much to be learned
endlessly waiting
with little concern
then suddenly
whimsy returns
once again they seek
new sights and sounds
learning and growing
finding new ground
fanciful flights
off and gone
natures grace
