I have shouldered many moments

in my world

weight of each

felt relentless

holding me back

pulling me down

yet

they did not become my crown

my story of defeat

but

my story of glory

showing me the way

how

turbulence trials tragedy torment

change

is determined by the choice

of my voice

within

daily I do

He is there beside me

guiding me

peace protection promise patience

found in His word

if you allow His grace to be yours
