such a beautiful day

what it is I have learned along my way

truly separate never are we

holding another in thought brings peace only if

you release forgive pain if still it is attached to the other

nature gives me treasures daily

to hurry is to become late

looking up is when you see everything

looking within is when you see you

God is always waiting

friends need not sit with you to bring you comfort

believe in pain, pain will be

dogs offer pure love

love is not for me alone

one is not me, me is we

sons live forever in my soul

coffee is amazing

blessed is beauty captured by random photos

I am art, art is me

I am the tallest of trees

I am the wind the breeze

I am the stars that shine

I am beautiful by God’s design

Lily’s Light

something caught my attention this quiet morning

softly yet with great determination

the single lily

that dares to seek the light

as nature succumbs to winters sleep

letting not

what is all around

keep her down

her beauty blooms within

now seeking to flourish

in the glory of God’s light

understanding

the fight of life is but a journey

reflecting all that she is

and going to be

is the beautiful lily rising

surfacing

in God’s timing

offering the purest of love

giving of herself without expectation

her roots running deep

nourished by this life that has carried her

into this light of now

somehow

knowing

she believed

more was yet to come

natures seasons

seasoned her will to try

offering water to grow in the darkest of storms

rainbows light brought her through

bridging the gap of the unknown

to be known

graced by the light of One

she seeks

His peace

this lily that dares to bloom

as nature succumbs to sleep

it is now in the quiet

when I feel most alone

I am closest to God

I know

He knows

the sorrows of my heart

the longing of my soul

it is now

He sends His angels

multitudes

to soothe my soul

sing to my spirit of His great love

I see the tears He cries when I cry

I see my tears in His eyes

He weeps for me

He feels my pain

taking each ache each sorrow

releasing me from their hold

opening my soul once more

to feel His love

unconditional for me

given

without return or cost

He gives

I find rest in His arms

comfort in His peace

I find God

when I release control

letting go

I see

God’s love in me

my strength to try

He holds me together

He is my stronghold

to stand once more

I am home

in the arms of my God

His love
